Miranda's Loom specializes in luxurious heirloom quality, one-of-a-kind fiber art pieces, accessories and useful household items made from natural materials. All merchandise is handwoven on lovely eight-harness Schacht looms by owner/operator Leann Gehm. Leann holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Science degree in Art Therapy/Art Education from Illinois State University. Weaving for over 20 years, she is based in beautiful southern Illinois and sells hand woven goods in shops and art fairs throughout the Midwest and via the internet.

Miranda's Loom now has work in Anthill Gallery and Vintage Curiosities. Experience the spectacular art and friendly atmosphere at this shop. Anthill is located at 102 N. Front Street in Cobden Illinois.

Miranda's Loom received the 1st Place Judges' Choice award at the Carbondale Main Street Downtown Art & Wine Fair! Thanks to the wonderful people who put the show together, and to those who came out to make it a great afternoon and evening!

There is a lot going on in the studio these days! I'm weaving fabulous custom collaborative pieces and building inventory for the 2010 art fairs. Please come out and support local artists!
